Fix Durability & Grit could sit on "Scoring your durability" and never finish. The first calculation now always completes; only later refreshes wait their turn.
Fix A Durability & Grit section that scores nothing now says so, rather than disappearing and leaving you to guess why.
Improved Four more sections can be pinned to Overview: Fuel Plan, Kit Checklist, B12 and the Health metric cards. They could be pinned before and drew nothing.
Fix Week Shape now shows its finding — the planned days you have not run — above the day rows. It was being written to a heading the app stopped displaying when sub-headings were removed, so it had never appeared at all.
14 September 2026
Fix Taper checklist timings corrected: race-week items now arrive at 7 days out, night-before items the day before. They were running about a week early.
Fix The Race Week card names the phase you are actually in. It printed RACE WEEK from 21 days out.
Fix Eight sections could be pinned to Overview and then drew nothing. Week Shape, Volume by Year, Durability & Grit and Injuries now draw; the other four cannot be pinned until they do.
11 September 2026
Requirement Mile32 now requires iOS 26. This drops the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR — you need an iPhone 11 or later, or a second-generation SE.
Fix The widget required a newer iOS than the app, so some installs had no widget at all. App, widget and project now state one minimum.
Improved Card grids work out their own column count. Still two on every current iPhone — groundwork for the foldable's inner display.
10 September 2026
Fix Shoe mileage counts. The run debrief asks which pair you wore; there was previously no way to record it.
Improved The run debrief asks what surface you ran on. Terrain feeds the Race Readiness surface check.
Improved Training Load opens with your last session — "Yesterday: 26 km, your biggest in 19 days".
Improved Volume by Year and Week Shape let you set how far back they look. Both drew a fixed span and neither said so.
Improved Volume by Year compares this year against one year you pick, rather than stacking several at once.
Fix Volume by Year drew two years for people who had imported eight — it was handed a run list with the earlier years filtered out. Week Shape had the same fault. Both now receive your full history.
7 September 2026
Improved Training Load counts how long you have been pushing, not just this week. Load above your own baseline for longer than you have ever sustained holds Race Readiness back slightly. Measured against your history, never a population average.
Feature Volume by Year: cumulative distance through the year, one line per year. Read straight up from today to compare against the same date in earlier years.
4 September 2026
Fix The Volume Heatmap colours each week against its own planned volume instead of one fixed target. Taper and recovery weeks read red before.
Improved The long-run heading shows how long since your last one, not just the count.
Feature Week Shape: which days you actually train over a chosen window, and any day your plan calls a run day that you have not run.
Improved Plan Progress shows volume alongside long runs. It could read 100% at half the planned distance.
Fix The long-run progression chart's key drew the dashed target line as solid.
Fix The long-run progression chart's two target lines zig-zagged and crossed. The plan is now one line: solid to today, dashed beyond it.
Improved The long-run progression chart dropped its per-week dots. It was carrying close to a hundred marks.
Fix Long-run target lines were hidden behind your actual distances for months at a time. Targets now draw on top, with filled markers for targets met and hollow for those ahead.
Fix This changelog was unreadable on a phone — the tag took a third of each line. It now sits above the text on small screens.
1 September 2026
Feature Block Distance, This Week, This Month, All-Time and every ascent card can show running, walking, or both. Off by default.
Fix Snapshot period cards all total the same runs. This Week could legitimately read higher than This Month.
Fix The Volume Heatmap gave different weekly totals depending on which tab you opened it from.
Fix The heatmap legend printed your target in kilometres while labelling it miles.
Fix Fitness ranking counted the months before your first run, so anyone with under a year of history ranked top every day. It now starts at your first run.
28 August 2026
Fix Time below Zone 1 was discarded, so a four-hour run with an easy hour scored as three. Training load reads higher now — the old numbers were understated.
Fix Course ascent was totalled from raw GPS noise: a flat 50 km course reported 3,303 m of climb, and now reports 10 m. Elevation is smoothed first.
Fix Course difficulty read a 300-point sketch of the route, flattening short steep pitches. It now reads the full track.
Improved Fitness is ranked against your own trailing year rather than fixed cut-offs, so heart-rate settings no longer move your predicted finish.
Improved Training Load's downhill channel uses each run's measured descent instead of inferring it from the climb.
Accessibility Every chart carries a VoiceOver summary. Fourteen of the fifteen previously announced as an unlabelled image.
27 August 2026
Shelved The race-day Live Activity is switched off, a day after it shipped. Its one added number needs you to confirm each checkpoint on your phone mid-race; without that it repeats the Race Day Card. It returns if confirming becomes one Lock Screen tap.
Improved Heat warnings judge conditions against your own climate rather than a fixed temperature. Genuinely dangerous heat still warns everyone.
Improved Recovery measures your week against your own normal rather than fixed thresholds, so a high-mileage block no longer reads "very heavy" every week.
Fix Predicted finish times for completed races assumed every course was flat. They now account for climb.
Improved The post-run debrief shows the ascent its prediction used.
26 August 2026
Feature A race-day Live Activity puts your next checkpoint, its target time and your cut-off buffer on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Improved Forecasts use Apple's WeatherKit; historical conditions stay on Open-Meteo.
Improved Distance Challenges each get their own card, and long names no longer wrap awkwardly.
25 August 2026
Feature Aid stations: record what each checkpoint stocks, and the crew sheet works out what to carry out of it, priced in gels and fluid at your own hourly rates.
Feature Physiotherapy history is a calendar of coloured dots instead of a list of weeks. Physio consistency is also an achievement now.
Improved Terrain reaches the Specificity audit, so training for a trail race entirely on road is visible.
Improved Recovered injuries are capped in the list; active ones are never hidden.
24 August 2026
Fix Records and achievements went stale after a weather or elevation backfill. The same fault was found and fixed in eighteen other places.
Fix Completed races showed "Predicted —" because the run data behind it never loaded.
Feature Shoe mileage tracking.
Improved Race history and race mementos are one record rather than two, so a past race can carry a course.
Improved Every record card gets its own icon, and the prose under Recovery and Race Readiness moved behind the ⓘ.
20 August 2026
Feature Injury pattern chart: one lane per body area, your weekly distance behind it, and the week each flare began marked.
Improved Minor flare-ups are recorded but never affect your readiness or training scores.
Feature Any race can carry its own GPX course, not just your goal race.
Feature Crew sheets gained drop-bag contents per checkpoint and pacer legs.
Improved Tapping a run opens it. It used to take two taps.
Improved Cards and rows light up when pressed.
17 August 2026
Fix The post-run debrief appears for every run, not only those past 90 minutes.
Improved Fitness Load target lines are labelled by distance (50K, 100K, 100 mile) instead of bare numbers.
16 August 2026
Feature A Lock Screen widget showing Fitness, Fatigue and Form together, as plain figures with no invented scale.
Feature Settings can show how much of your Fitness score is measured rather than estimated.
Fix The Lock Screen widget's trend arrow pointed down after a run that raised your Fitness.
Improved Collectible celebrations arrive one at a time, with more variety for harder-earned ones. Replay them from Settings.
15 August 2026
Improved Fitness Load and Zone Distribution use a run's real heart-rate series where available, not just its average.
13 August 2026
Feature Fuelling capture on the run debrief: log the carbs you took against your race plan's rate.
Fix Onboarding matches the app's dark style instead of a light background.
Fix The sweat-rate test prompt on the Fuel tab opened the wrong screen.
12 August 2026
Fix The wide Lock Screen widget's trend indicator is one clear arrow instead of five near-identical icons.
Feature Calendar-based collectibles for holidays and recurring milestones.
Feature The run debrief is reachable from a run's detail screen, not only when first prompted.
Feature The first Lock Screen widget: Fitness.
Fix Run/walk long runs fell off a 9:00/km pace cliff and dropped out of load and distance stats.
Fix The Race tab's segment picker jumped position when switching segments.
11 August 2026
Accessibility Full VoiceOver support across the app.
Accessibility Reduce Motion is respected everywhere — celebrations and glows degrade to a static equivalent.
Accessibility Dynamic Type scales consistently across the whole app.
Fix A step-function jump in the fatigue multiplier used for ultra-distance predictions.
Privacy Weather lookups send a less precise location — about 1 km rather than house-level.
Fix Background sync was missing its push notification channel, silently delaying iCloud updates.
8 August 2026
Feature Run/walk sessions can be marked as deliberate practice so they do not skew race predictions.
Fix Collectibles were only checked when you opened Achievements, not the moment you earned one.
